So many spiritual teachings are focused on the opening of the eyes, the opening of spiritual sight.

In Buddhism, Maya (māyā) is a mental factor responsible for deceit or concealment about the illusionary nature of things.

It has multiple meanings in Indian philosophy, one meaning being that which conceals the true character of the spiritual reality.

Maya is perceived reality; one that does not reveal the hidden principles, the true reality.
Maya is unconscious, Atman is conscious.

And in Kabbalah, it is the same. In fact a Kabbalist is known as a person who uses their vision to transform darkness into light.

They see the physical world for what it is—a game, an illusion, a challenge—and their purpose is to penetrate beyond the illusion. They aim to draw light from the higher worlds into this physical world to transform and thereby reveal the light hidden behind the illusion—to draw heaven to earth.

The ability to create heaven on earth lies in the power of true sight.

Our physical eyes do not perceive the true reality. We are unconscious to the spiritual forces at the root of what we see in our world.

The natural tendency of every human being when facing difficult moments is to immediately think: this is bad, I don’t want it, I need to get out of this, I need to use spiritual tools to overcome it…

But what does our Soul think about in these moments?

Our Soul says "Wow! I’ve gotten to level 10. This is it! This is what I’ve been waiting for. When I beat this guy, I will advance to the next level where all kinds of new worlds, weapons and adventures are available to me…"

Because we didn’t come to just coexist with the ups and downs of life.

We came to Welcome even difficult moments—to be the main character and driving force that transforms darkness into light.

This may be the biggest transformation you could ever make in this lifetime.

I may even go as far as to say if you master this, you will have achieved enlightenment!

The upcoming months of Virgo (the New Moon starts tonight) and Libra are intense months. We are approaching and preparing for the turning of the wheel, the writing of a new cycle. During this time we have the opportunity to create a quantum leap. 

There are innumerable tools, prayers and actions one may take this month. But if you were to focus only on one thing throughout the entire month, this is it. This is the transformer. It is literally what will transform any darkness in your life into light.

What does it feel like when you receive bad news? Or when a bad situation occurs in your life?

I feel loved and appreciated.

Source loves me so much that it is giving me this opportunity to reveal the light and blessings hidden behind this situation. The bad situation/challenge is like a cover over something new and great that wants to be revealed in my life.

I am totally cared for, so I know only good will come from this.

The kindness and graciousness of the Light is being extended to me. I may not be able to see it, but I know the highest and best is occurring for me and on my behalf.

I feel appreciation for this opportunity.

I feel love for Source.

I feel desire to share the gifts that are constantly being bestowed upon me.

The degree of illogical darkness that I see indicates the degree of illogical miracles that are waiting to enter into my life. 

My consciousness and sight firmly rooted in the True Reality—regardless of what my physical eyes and senses show me—is the transformer and my Magic Key.
